Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and the person who runs Feudal Football. By creating an account or playing, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the game.
1. Who we are
Feudal Football is operated by Jimmy Wigerstedt, a sole trader based in Uppsala, Sweden. Throughout these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean that operator, and “the game” means the Feudal Football website, web app and any mobile app we publish.

2. Who may play
You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account. By registering you confirm that you are. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it.
You must also be legally able to enter into this agreement, and not barred from using the game under the laws that apply to you.
3. Your account
You are responsible for your account and for anything done through it. Keep your password to yourself, use an email address you actually control, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has got in.
One person, one account. Do not sell, rent, share or transfer your account, and do not buy or take over anyone else’s. Accounts and everything in them stay with us and are not property you can trade.
4. What you are getting
We give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable and non-exclusive right to play the game for your own entertainment. That is a licence to use a service, not a sale. You do not acquire ownership of the game, its code, its art, its data or anything inside your account.
5. Virtual items, currency and progress
Everything you gather in the game (resources, knights, items, buildings, Fate, and any other in-game currency or object) exists only inside the game. Please read this section carefully, because it is the part players most often misunderstand.
- In-game items and currency have no monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for money, and they are not credit, deposits, securities or property.
- They are not transferable between accounts, and may not be sold, traded or given away outside the game. Real-money trading of accounts or items is prohibited.
- They can be changed, rebalanced, devalued or removed. Feudal Football is a live game with an economy we tune against real play data. Yields, costs, timers, caps and drop rates will change, sometimes sharply, and sometimes in ways that reduce the value of things you already hold. This is a normal part of running the game and is not a breach of these terms.
- Unspent in-game currency is not refundable in money, including when an account closes.
6. Purchases and the Supporter subscription
Some parts of the game can be bought with real money, including a recurring Supporter subscription. Prices are shown before you confirm, in the currency stated at checkout, and include any tax we are required to charge.
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Your card data is processed by Stripe under its own terms and privacy policy.
A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal linked in the game. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period you are currently in, and your benefits run to the end of that period.
Your right to withdraw, and what happens when you use the purchase. As a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase. For digital content delivered immediately, that right ends once delivery begins, provided you asked for immediate delivery and acknowledged that you would lose the right. When you confirm a purchase in the game you are making exactly that request and acknowledgement, so in-game content granted to you straight away is not refundable once it has been delivered. Where the law still gives you a withdrawal right, contact us and we will honour it.
Outside of that, refunds are at our discretion. If something went genuinely wrong, such as a double charge or a purchase that never arrived, write to us and we will put it right.
If you buy through a mobile app store, that store’s own purchase and refund rules may apply in addition to these terms.
7. Fair play
Please do not:
- use bots, scripts, automation, modified clients or any tool that plays for you or gives you an advantage the game does not intend;
- exploit a bug instead of reporting it, or abuse a flaw in the economy to generate resources the design does not allow;
- scrape, crawl, bulk-download or systematically harvest the game or its data, or place unreasonable load on our servers;
- reverse engineer, decompile or interfere with the game, its security, or anyone else’s use of it;
- create multiple accounts to gain an advantage, or evade a suspension;
- harass other players, or use a House name, crest or other text to post content that is unlawful, hateful, sexual, threatening or impersonating.
If you break these rules we may remove content, roll back progress, suspend or close the account, with or without notice depending on how serious it is.
8. The game will change, and may be reset
Feudal Football is an evolving service in its early operation. We may add, change or remove features, seasons, leagues and content at any time.
We also reserve the right to reset, roll back, wipe or migrate game progress, in whole or in part, where we consider it necessary, for example after a serious exploit, a data fault, or an economy rebalance that cannot be applied to existing accounts. We will avoid it where we reasonably can, and we will tell players when it happens. Progress is not guaranteed to be permanent, and we do not promise that the game will run forever.
We try to keep the game available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. It may go down for maintenance, for reasons outside our control, or because a third party we depend on has failed.
9. Independence, real-world names, and rights-holder notices
Feudal Football is an independent work. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, licensed by or connected to any football club, league, competition, governing body, association, or player. No such organisation has approved the game or has any involvement in it.
The game reacts to publicly reported results and performance from real football matches. Where a real person’s or team’s name appears, it is used as a factual reference to identify who the reported real-world performance belongs to. It is not used to suggest any endorsement, partnership or association, and it is not used in our advertising or marketing.
We do not use club or competition badges, crests, logos, wordmarks, kits, trophy likenesses, anthems or player likenesses. Every crest, banner, portrait, item and piece of heraldry in the game is our own original artwork.
If you are a rights holder. If you believe that a name or reference in the game infringes a right you hold, write to [email protected] with the specific name or names concerned and the right you rely on. We review these promptly and, where we consider it appropriate, we can change or remove a name from the game quickly and without waiting for an app update. We do this at our discretion, as a matter of good faith and without any admission of liability or of the merits of the claim.
The same address takes copyright notices about any material in the game. Tell us what the work is, where it appears in the game, and how to reach you.
10. Our content
The game, its code, artwork, text, design, sounds and structure belong to us or to our licensors and are protected by copyright and other rights. You may not copy, distribute, publish or make derivative works from them, except that you are welcome to make screenshots and videos of your own play and share them, including on monetised channels, as long as you do not present them as an official product or suggest we endorse you.
If you send us feedback, ideas or suggestions, we may use them freely and without owing you anything for them.
11. Disclaimers and our liability
The game is provided as it is and as it is available. To the extent the law allows, we do not give warranties that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or that any particular feature or piece of content will keep existing.
Match data comes from third-party providers. It can be late, incomplete or wrong, and the game’s outcomes depend on it. We are not responsible for the accuracy of that data.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost opportunity, or loss of in-game items, currency or progress. Where we are liable, our total liability to you for all claims in any 12 month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in that period, or 500 SEK.
None of this limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. That includes death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, and your mandatory rights as a consumer under Swedish and EU law. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms takes those rights away.
12. Ending the agreement
You can stop playing at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account by writing to [email protected]. Deleting your account removes your game progress and it cannot be undone.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that we are required to close by law, or that has been inactive for a very long time. If we close the game itself, we will give reasonable notice where we can, and we will stop charging any active subscriptions.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the game changes. The date at the top always shows the current version. If a change materially affects your rights, we will give notice in the game or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to play after that means you accept the new terms.
14. Law and disputes
Swedish law governs these terms. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of any mandatory rules of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim in the courts there.
If we cannot resolve something between us, please contact us first. Consumers in Sweden can also refer a dispute to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN, arn.se), and consumers in the EU can use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform.
